Channel Maven (News and Events)
At the core of every relationship is a desire to support each other. Whether centered around family, friendship, financial, health, or work, people need people and it’s the human connection that binds us. As a small business, we’re lucky to have employees who genuinely care about each other. We operate like a family and this people-first attitude naturally spills over into our engagements. As a result, we’re very fortunate to have built strong customer relationships, turned long-standing friendships in many cases.
Our "hospitalian" nature extends beyond the workday. We believe you get what you give and when it comes to supporting those in need, this couldn’t be truer. Over the years at Channel Maven we’ve experienced such joy by contributing our time, resources, and experience to life-changing organizations. From supporting kids with autism with our Temple Grandin School volunteer cleanup day, to technology services in support of veterans through the Cost of Freedom, Inc., and empowering girls and women through charitable events with Cloud Girls, CompTIA’s AWIT, Dress for Success, and the Boulder JCC, we’re working to make a difference, and we’d love your help with our most recent initiative to support There With Care.
Hopefully, you’ve never known the stress and pain that comes from having a child in distress. For those who have, There With Care takes relationships to a new level. This community of humanitarians provide support for families enduring critical medical crises. Once introduced, we were instantly compelled to help. Our entire team spent one morning shopping for a variety of toys, books and activities to fill bags for the boys and girls under There With Care’s angel wings. Having first listened to a heartbreaking yet heartwarming presentation followed by a tour of their no-nonsense, all-love facility, we came back together as a team to fill bags with loads of goodies, in hopes of bringing happiness to these little warriors. By the end of this day together, we felt our strong calling to do more.
During the month of October, Channel Maven has partnered with the Boulder JCC, to collect local clothes donations for There With Care children and their families. If you’re a parent, you know managing a household without illness is challenging enough, but doing so with an ill child is unfathomable. For these families having access to age and season appropriate clothes for growing kids lifts an enormous burden. If you’re local we’d love your new and gently used donations!
