Marketing/Consulting Specialist Job Description
This role is suited to someone who has a passion for marketing including social media, SEO, email campaigns and is interested in helping small/medium businesses drive relationships and revenue through these platforms. Specifically the role will include:
Building and executing email campaigns through popular marketing automation tools like Vertical Response
Project management of multiple simultaneous client projects
Tracking and engaging in social media conversations on social platforms for multiple clients
Engaging with relevant communities and individuals as part of driving social media programs as a tactic within marketing campaigns
Managing hubspot account for company and its clients
Managing the launch of content such as eBooks, videos, blog posts, and collateral
Conduct interviews and engage third party resources for market information
The specific skills required include:
Hard worker who is excited about working in an environment where they can grow.
Sees working late nights or weekends as a benefit of working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Knowledge and experience in using social media tools including Twitter, LinkedIn, and Wordpress.
Comfort writing copy for emails and possible blog posts.
An inquisitive mind to research, track and understand the latest developments in marketing and our clients’ business
Good organizational and research skills
A good technical understanding of basic blogging and analytic technologies or the ability to demonstrate the ability to grasp basic web 2.0 skills
Comfort working with some html and/or advanced WYSIWYG skills
Understanding of the IT channel a plus but not required
The right candidate will be business minded comfortable speaking with small business or enterprise level clients and representing Channel Maven Consulting professionally
We are recent transplants in Boulder, CO formerly of Boston, MA but we're looking for the right candidate wherever they are located. Obviously must be a self starter and able to be productive in a virtual work environment.
