What We’re Looking forward to In 2019

Written by Heather K. Margolis | January 24, 2019

The new year is always a time to reflect, innovate and organize. This year, our goals are all about you. Brad and I especially are looking forward to seeing you, brainstorming with you, and providing you more great content this year.

A lot of times my “resolutions” last all of two weeks. This year feels different. There’s been a shift and I am so excited about what lies ahead. Nothing excites us more than talking to many of you and understanding what you’re focused on and how we can brainstorm and help.

This year we have a lot to look forward to and hope to share with all of you.

  1. Events, events, and more events: This year we are doing more events than ever and hope to see you. I’ll be speaking at or at least attending B2BMX at the end of February, Channel Partners in early April, and SiriusDecisions, Baptie Channel Focus and Women of the Channel WEST in May. That’s just the first 5 months so stay tuned for updates. If you’re attending any of these events please reach out directly. I’d love to see you.
  2. Making Content King (and Queen) Again: Blogs, in general, had become more about keywords, length, and frequency. Luckily the search engines have decided that it’s important for content to be relevant, engaging and informative. I look forward to writing the blogs we want to write and you want to read. Have ideas or questions that need solving? Let us know!
  3. All the better to See you With: We’re stepping up our CMCtv and have some really exciting guests lined up for 2019. Not only that but if you’re on Facebook we’ll be doing some Live chats and encourage you to tune in and ask questions, on the fly. Want to be one of our guest on CMCtv? Email me. Whether in our Boulder studio or Skype chat, I would love to have you and talk about trends, challenges and best practices in the channel.
  4. Partner On: We’re drinking our own Kool-Aid and have some great Partnerships to discuss over the next few months. We enjoy partnering with like-minded organizations who are passionate about the channel and compliment our channel enablement and channel marketing solutions.
  5. Getting Organized: Last quarter I wrote a long form post about some of my tips and tricks for getting it all done including my Panda Planner. Between that and my binge watching of Marie Kondo in Tidying Up it’s amazing how much more you can get done when you’re organized. Now, I’m still in a marriage with a fellow entrepreneur and we have two kids under 3 years old so that bar is set pretty low.

I’m really excited to be more focused on engaging with you at events, on the road, over video and on the phone. If there’s anything you need this year please do not hesitate to reach out! In the meantime, in case you missed it, here’s some great content we thought you’d enjoy.
