Ecosystems are like solar systems. The hubs are like suns and there's a gravitational pull around those suns/hubs. System integrators/consultants are the planets that rotate around the suns making implementation and services dollars, etc. Then, there are moons which are the smaller ISVs which try to attach and play in that market by solving niche process problems off the sun. Then, the stars are the customers BUT if that sun, planet, and moon don't know who you are or disagree with you, that ecosystem rejects you and works against you in the sales cycle. 
 
So how can businesses ensure they get as close as possible to the source of energy, ensure the sun shines brightly, and align the solar system?
