Oracle Invests in Channel Partner Development with the FY 13 Oracle PartnerNetwork’s Kickoff

Written by Channel Maven | July 18, 2012

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, the most successful channels are born out of successful channel communication, and that’s what we saw with the FY13 Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Oracle Kickoff. While we won’t get into Oracle’s partner strategy, we will discuss how their communication strategy shined.

To start, Oracle lets its partners know their worth by sending a message from the top. Oracle’s executive team was in full visibility during the event showing that they are on the front lines trying to drive demand through the channel. Hosted by Judson Althoff, Oracle Senior Vice President of Worldwide Alliances and Channels, and a slew of regional Oracle Alliances and Channel executives, Oracle reaffirmed its commitment to channel partners from the executive suite. Oracle’s comprehensive program spanning EMEA, NAS, LAD, Japan, APAC, and other global partners covered a breadth of topics; providing partners not only with Oracle’s solutions but strategies as to how to differentiate themselves from the competition, increase revenue opportunities, and grow their business. Of course Oracle also communicated their overall channel strategy and direction for FY 2013. The two-day event, broken into regional segments provided partners a comprehensive look at Oracle’s big picture. Live captioning in French, Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese and English also increased the programs accessibility and reach. If you missed the event, the recording can be found at FY13 OPN  Kickoff. What do you think of OPN Kickoff? Oracle partners, do you feel ready for success in FY13?
