Marketing Manager/ Consultant

We’re looking to bring on a team member who will drive client engagement with large Technology and Telecom software and hardware vendors, while working with our consultants, marketing coordinators, and the executive team. Client projects range from social media to traditional marketing such as demand generation and often include heavy social media usage for B2B, creating emails / event invitations, blogging, and event management.

Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with clients  (vendors, solution providers / VARS) on project work. Project work will range from social media to traditional marketing such as demand generation and event marketing.  Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, are essential.
  • Social Media Rock Star - specifically with LinkedIn and Twitter but also occasionally Facebook for business, Google+, and SEO. Includes pulling content for our clients to use to better engage their audience, putting an assessment together to suggest improvements to clients, and working with our Marketing Director on strategy plans for both clients and Channel Maven Consulting.
  • Demand generation including creating emails / event invitations, blogging, leveraging social media for B2B, and event management. Many of these elements are created for clients so you may be talking about security one minute and cloud the next.
  • Work with solution providers or VARs to execute campaigns using their marketing automation tools.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency with a variety of web analytics platforms including Google Analytics, Email platform statistics, social media analytics and scheduling platforms, etc.
  • 5+ years experience with B2B marketing and lead generation
  • Experience with enterprise client management i.e. IT companies with over 1,000 employees
  • Lead generation experience, specifically lead generation emails and materials
  • Copywriting and editing skills across multiple vehicles including: social media, web, print, data sheets, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Commitment to working hard to provide the client with best in class marketing deliverables and advice
  • Organization, professionalism and attention to detail are key.
  • Self-motivated/ able to problem solve and provide great work with limited supervision
  • Strong project management capabilities, ability to prioritize and conduct multiple projects at once
  • Team player with a “can-do” attitude who is not afraid of bringing new ideas to the table and willingness to try new things
