Channel Jeopardy, anyone?

Written by Heather K. Margolis | April 06, 2017

Channel Jeopardy Anyone?!

Answer: Four preeminent Channel analysts, all of whom left their posts to take executive positions in the last 12 months.

Question: Who are Tiffani Bova, Laz Gonzalez, Darren Bibby, and Tim Harmon?

What else do they all have in common? They will be contestants to my “Alex Trebek” in our “Channel Jeopardy” session at the ‘Leveraging New Technologies to Amp Your Channel's Effectiveness’ symposium being put on by Nuvello May 8th and 9th. I assure you, you will not want to miss this! [And NO, I will not be wearing a mustache (sorry, Alex).]

More importantly, what do you want to hear from this powerhouse crew? Extra points if you send your questions in Jeopardy format!

Where did they go? Tiffani Bova, formerly of Gartner is now Global Customer Growth and Innovation Evangelist at Salesforce; Laz Gonzalez from SiriusDecisions is now Chief Strategy Officer at Zift; Darren Bibby of IDC fame is now AVP, Channel Strategy at DocuSign; and Tim Harmon formerly of Forrester, has struck out on his own as the Managing Director of Nuvello. Are analyst firms no longer valid? Or are organizations finally realizing that innovation and getting outside your comfort zone are so important they are bringing the resources in-house?

As I said above, what do you want to hear from the Jeopardy contestants? What burning questions have you been harboring now that they are not available to you on the regular (well, with the exception of Tim)?

This is the best of times, this is the worst of times. Digital transformation has availed sooooooo many ways to engage customers today. And as a result, many parties are doing so - but, more often than not, in an uncoordinated, misaligned, and non-integrated fashion.

It doesn't have to be that way. You can loop your Channel ecosystem into your digital transformation network. No easy feat, to be sure, yet some have achieved success. Come learn how those Channel and marketing professionals leverage new technology capabilities to boost their ecosystem's go-to-market power.
