		<description>Hi CM

I was reading your post above and I 100% agree.

Cloud computing is currently reshaping the market, both inside and outside the channel. Hubspot is a good example. They do a great job with their approach. They took a SaaS based CMS (content management system) paired with an analytics tool and turned it into an “inbound marketing system”. They also have really a great marketing strategy. Instead of trying to communicate to their audience (marketers) from the outside, they became an entity that penetrated from the inside out. Heck, I know they got my attention (and still do).

One SaaS based technology I am close with is web syndication. Web syndication provides marketers with the ability to distribute rich, digital assets (i.e. videos, presentations, banner ads, landing pages, product showcases, ratings and reviews) over multiple websites from one source.

You’re a channel expert. Let’s use a manufacturer as an example. Say Microsoft needs to have complete consistency across their channel. Today, it takes a significant amount of time and resources to assist their business partners in updating their websites, undoubtedly one of the most important elements to marketing today. It takes so much time that they have to choose who they focus on, and who they don’t. Web syndication allows businesses like Microsoft assist their partners by updating all of their reseller&#039;s or distributor’s web sites with the latest marketing campaigns and product information. This enables resellers and distributors to attract, educate and deliver the critical product information that end users demand with minimal effort. As a result, the manufacturer’s investment in product marketing is protected.

Another added bonus is customized syndication feeds. As you noted above, VARs sell differently. Having customized syndication feeds from the manufacturer allows VARs, business partners and resellers utilize marketing content that strictly pertains to their business. Pretty cool huh? : )

Nice chatting with you.
